Synopsis

Four humans are being watched by three birds. In the first movement, the birders confront parrots, gulls, sparrows to discover their own environments. By the second movement, humans are becoming more birdlike—reading migrations, singing their songs. In the third movement, we've become air born, and the return to grounded reality, though difficult, is inevitable. How can people face their lives knowing those of the higher animals? Only with the love and song of birds inside of them, perpetual and whole.
